Get on Track to Financial Security – On Demand Seminar

A shortened version of our full Get on Track to Financial Security seminar that we offer in schools, this is designed to teach employees of all ages the basics of investing and retirement planning. In this on-demand seminar we provide information about how to achieve long-term financial goals.

Kelly BehnkeKelly Behnke, TGPC, CIC, CISR, ACSR™

Kelly has been with WEA Member Benefits since 2000 and brings extensive experience in 403(b) plan compliance and administration, supporting public school districts throughout the state. She works closely with districts and school employees to provide financial education, practical guidance, and access to solutions that help individuals build financial security and make informed financial decisions.

Kelly holds a B.B.A. from Edgewood College and maintains Series 6, 63, 26, and SIE securities licenses, along with life, health, property, and casualty licenses. She has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), and Tax-Exempt and Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC) designations. She is also a registered representative of WEA Investment Services, Inc..

In addition to her professional work, Kelly serves on her local school board, bringing both governance experience and a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing public education.

Kelly lives in Portage with her husband and enjoys spending time at her cabin in Northern Wisconsin, along with a variety of outdoor activities.

Dave StelmaszewskiDave Stelmaszewski

Dave has over 10 years of experience providing insurance and retirement products to Wisconsin individuals. He has taught continuing education classes to insurance professionals and is passionate about assisting districts as well as school employees with financial education, answers to their questions, and products to build their financial security in retirement.

Member Benefits has a wide variety of resources designed to educate and inform members as to how to make good financial decisions in order to obtain a secure future and retirement. Dave would love to set up a presentation for your school district and discuss the financial resources available to you and your staff.

Dave lives near Madison with his wife Ember and their two dogs. They enjoy checking out music concerts, outdoor festivals, and spending time playing with their four grandchildren around the southwestern Wisconsin area.

Ben Sloma

Ben joins WEA Member Benefits after spending 25 years as a Wisconsin public school teacher. His experience in the profession affords him a unique understanding of the importance that financial literacy and planning has for members, and he is enthusiastic about providing them with the information and services needed to help them achieve their investment goals and a secure retirement.

Member Benefits supports districts with a variety of financial planning presentations and instructional materials appropriate for those new to education, approaching retirement, and all steps in between. Having been an educator himself, Ben knows firsthand the value placed by public school employees on the opportunities their districts provide to ensure their financial health. He looks forward to working with you toward this goal and welcomes the opportunity to discuss the many resources and presentations available to you and your staff.

Ben lives in Mequon. In his free time, he enjoys rehabbing old homes, hiking, and collecting paintings by early Wisconsin artists.

Matt Robisch

Matt transitioned to WEA Member Benefits after more than 30 years as a band director in the Rib Lake School District. A committed WEA Member Benefits advocate for financial security, he began contributing to a 403(b) plan early in his teaching career and has consistently encouraged fellow educators to plan for retirement. In 2014, he was selected as a financial mentor by WEA Member Benefits, helping new and current staff understand the importance of long-term retirement savings and effective use of 403(b) plans.

Matt’s expertise in employee benefits is grounded in firsthand experience. He has worked closely with district leadership and staff to evaluate policies and benefits and has served in leadership roles within Wisconsin Education Association Council, as well as on the Rib Lake Town Board and other community organizations. He values the organization’s commitment to ethical practices and its mission of “Every Member Financially Secure.”

Matt lives in Rib Lake, Wisconsin, with his wife, Sara. They have three children: Oliver, Theodore, and Wilhelm. In his free time, Matt enjoys hunting, fishing, farming, and managing wildlife habitat on his property.
