Medicare Supplement Insurance

Medicare Supplement insurance helps fills in the gaps

Available nationwide.

What is Medicare Supplement insurance?

A Medicare Supplement insurance plan, also called a Medigap plan, is a separate policy you can buy from a private company that works with Medicare Part A (covers inpatient care in hospitals as well as skilled nursing facility, hospice, and home health care) and Part B (services from doctors and other health care providers, outpatient and home health care, durable medical and many preventative services). It helps pay some of the costs involved from gaps in Medicare coverage, such as:

  • Coinsurance
  • Copayments
  • Deductibles

Who needs this coverage?

Those who are turning 65 and need to go on Medicare and those that already have Medicare who want to have help managing and budgeting their health care expenses with predictability.

Why should I consider purchasing supplemental insurance?

You can use any doctor who accepts Medicare. There are no provider networks and usually no referrals required.
