Who is Member Benefits?

Our story

At WEA Member Benefits:

  • We believe in education.
  • We believe in public schools.
  • We believe public school employees and their families deserve to be financially secure.

We were originally created in Wisconsin by educators, for educators, over 50 years ago. The creation of WEA Member Benefits was the solution born out of the determination of Wisconsin public educators who saw a need for a trusted resource to guide them to and through their financial journey. They sought unbiased financial education, products, and services provided with their best interests in mind, and a partner who understood their values and needs and treated them with respect. Today, we offer retirement savings programs, financial planning, and auto, home, and umbrella insurance to Wisconsin public educators and their families.

In 2023, we expanded our product line to educators outside of Wisconsin. Our IRA program is available in several states outside of Wisconsin. We’ve also expanded our product line to include long-term care, life, and Medicare supplement insurance, which are offered nationwide.

We are very pleased to be able to offer our quality programs to public school employees in all 50 states.
